Hellfighters International Christian Ministries was established in the year 2000 by Laurel businessman Richard Headrick and his wife, Gina, after seeing the need to mobilize Christians around the globe and call them into action with the expressed purpose of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
After traveling the world encouraging and assisting missionaries in over 80 countries, the couple was passionate about bringing all born-again believers together and getting the average church member off the pew and into the streets proclaiming the Good News that Jesus saves and the need for believers to live authentic, holy lives for all to see.
In 2005, this effort was expanded with the establishment of the Hellfighters Motorcycle Ministry, later to be expanded again with a Hellfighters Foot Soldiers Ministry (for those who do not ride motorcycles), and then again with the establishment of the Mission At The Cross; a place were those battling addictions and homelessness can find restoration and healing through the power of Jesus.
As Hellfighters units began to spring up all across the globe, the Headricks began hosting Hellfighters Presidents’ Summits, bringing all unit presidents and their wives together for one weekend each year to conduct official business. While the Summits were an opportunity to take care of business matters, these annual meetings grew into something much greater…a worshipful time where powerful services were held and lives were changed.
As the presidents returned home from the event and shared with their members about the life-changing services from the Summits, other Hellfighters and Supporters expressed their desire to attend the annual event and be a part of what God was doing. Never wanting to turn down an opportunity for fellow believers to experience the power of God, the Headricks made the decision in 2014 to establish the first-ever Hellfighters Convention to be held in conjunction with the May 2015 Presidents' Summit, and to have it open for everyone, regardless of whether they are a Hellfighters member or not.
The unit presidents will meet to conduct official business on each Friday before the convention, followed by all types of events the next day, Convention Saturday, which is always the first Saturday in May. Starting that morning with The Hellfighter Freedom Ride, a motorcycle ride through the beautiful back roads of Mississippi and the infamous “Gator Tail,” attendees will enjoy a full day of activities including various sessions of the Hellfighters Convention. As always, the convention is open to the public – you do not have to be a Hellfighter to enjoy our convention.
Each convention is different and offers a mixture of outstanding speakers and singers, sure to motivate all who attend. The entire weekend is designed to be God-honoring and Christ-exalting with the main focus on Jesus.
Make your plans to attend today!
